Vidar’s Jan Mayen Page

in collaboration with

IJM-logo

We wish to welcome you to our home pages dedicated to Jan Mayen, a small Arctic island situated at 71°N 8°30’W, - at the blinking star on the map below.

Vidar’s Jan Mayen page was in the beginning only written in English, but after a collaboration with "Ishavsforeningen Jan Mayen" started, parallel pages in Norwegian will be made.
If you end up on a page with Norwegian text and an English flag up in the left corner, please click on the flag and you will be taken to a page with English text.

-  What is new?

The adress http://home.sol.no/vteigen is now invalid. My ISP has given me the following new alternative addresses: http://vteigen.hos.online.no or http://vteigen.home.online.no or http://home.online.no/~vteigen/.

If you click on the blinking star , you will be taken to a clickable satellite image of the island, there you can go to pictures from Jan Mayen taken by me or by friends. There are also links to related pages.
Additional pictures can be found on the pictures link page
