This trip begins in Gudbrandsdalen, and crosses over the northern part of Jotunheimen to Stryn.
From there we went out north to Volda before zigzagging north-east across Valldal, down Trollstigen and up Romsdalen.
With base-camp in Bjorli, we made a trip to the Mardals-waterfall.

When going across from Gudbrandsdalen, you turn off the E-6 at Otta, and go west on the E-15 as far as Grotli. The weather permitted, you should make a detour going the old mountain-road (258) towards the Stryn Summerski-Center. If you are among the traffic-congestive kind with your "wohnmobile", please go the E-15. The 258 is a narrow dirt-track, and all these slowmoving unpassable mobile homes is a real pain.
The Ski-Center is on the glacier perched on the brink where the road winds down towareds Stryn. A spectacular place.
Unfortunately it's been discovered by action-hungry sweedes with ultra-expencive fashion gear, and sultry-looking acne-kids with their snowboards. Off-course it's possible to ignore. On the bottom slope of the hills you can ski just in your shorts. On the upper slopes it's wintertemps.
