What is Yellow Lemon Software?
Yellow Lemon Software makes software for the Apple Macintosh. We currently offer the very successful utility FolderGlance, with DEVONtechnologies having recently taken over distribution of Desktop Transporter. A number of older applications are still available for Mac OS 9 and earlier, including versions of the classic games Space Invaders and Othello. A number of HyperCard stacks are also part of the historical product line-up, although these are definitely beginning to show their age. They still appear here for historical reasons, though :) For a comprehensive list, check out the legacy software page.

July 12. 2007 Version 1.1.0 of Screen Sieve is out! This release features the ability to scroll while searching and multi-monitor support. Ronald Leroux and Yurikou Murai have provided respectively French and Japanese localizations. Get it now!
December 27. 2006 Version 1.0.1 of Screen Sieve is out! This bug-fix release fixes a memory leak and a crashing bug. Get it now!
December 19. 2006 Today, we have released Screen Sieve, a screen-searching utility that lets you search the contents of the currently focused window. It highlights all visible occurrences of characters, words and phrases as you type, almost regardless of the application the window belongs to. Click here to learn more!
November 9. 2006 As of today, DEVONtechnologies has taken over as distributor of Desktop Transporter! The press release can be found here. In addition to taking over distribution, version 2.0 was released today. Already registered users receive a free upgrade to version 2.0. You will need to enter your license details again when installing the new version. Version 2.0 is not compatible with earlier versions of Desktop Transporter.
May 2. 2006 FolderGlance has been updated to fix two bugs that affected users running Mac OS X 10.3.9 and earlier. Get it here!
April 10. 2006 FolderGlance has now reached version 2.0! This update contains features like control-free popups, ability to move files directly to the trash from the contextual menu and a brand new, comprehensive user's guide! The update also fixes a bug related to automatic version checks on Intel-based Macs, adds support for generic icons and allows you to customize the size of in-menu previews. Get it here!
March 20. 2006 An updated beta version of FolderGlance is now available, fixing a bug which affected sorting on Intel-based Macs, as well as fixing a preference panel bug which caused the "Only show folders" setting to not display correctly.
February 24. 2006 A beta version of the upcoming Universal release of FolderGlance is now available! It has not been extensively tested yet, which is why it is still a beta. There are no new features in this version compared to the version 1.7.6, which was PowerPC-only, apart from the fact that FolderGlance now runs on Intel-based Macs too.
February 3. 2006 FolderGlance has been updated to version 1.7.6, featuring new localizations to French, Polish and Italian, as well as an updated Japanese localization.

Screen SIeve 1.1.0 is a tool that lets you locate characters, words and phrases in the currently focused window, highlighting all matches as you type.
FolderGlance 2.0.1 is a small feature-packed contextual menu plugin for the Finder. When installed, it allows you to control-click or right-click on folders to see and open their contents, as well as examine the contents of sub-folders down an unlimited number of levels.
Desktop Transporter is a simple and easy-to-use remote desktop application for Mac OS X. It is now being distributed by DEVONtechnologies.
Older software from the days of OS 9 and earlier is also available. Some of it may run in Classic on OS X and even more of it requires HyperCard to run.
