The friendly against Wales ended in a 0-0 draw with NI having the best of the game with Grant McCann almost stealing the win with a shot that rattled the Welsh crossbar.

In the other group games, Denmark win 4-0 over Liechtenstein while the Swedish beat Iceland 2-1

Northern Ireland come away from Denmark with a well earned draw..

The Green and white army were on the backburner for most of the match with much pressure coming from the Danish attacks, wave after wave of attack failed to break down the NI defence.



Northern Ireland had very few chances in the game with only one real chance of scoring when the substitute goalkeeper for Denmark dropped the ball to the feet of David Healy but the Danish defence managed to scramble the ball away.
