There have been many tournaments between clubs from Northern Ireland & the Republic of Ireland over the years from the very first Dublin/Belfast Intercity Cup in 1941 up to todays Setanta Cup.
The most successful clubs over the years are Shamrock Rovers with a total of 5 titles, Linfield follow close behind with 4 victories
