Fiction
- Austir-Augir - I wrote this
several years ago, when I was participating a bit in the
multiple author / roleplaying Usenet newsgroup alt.dragons-inn; an experience
I much recommend.
- Brother Nilatz - The
Vatican has bought the Russian GRU, and set them to the task of
cleaning up Usenet. I wrote this as a reply to a rather impolite
poster in rec.games.frp.misc several years ago. I've kept it
around, because, well I just like it a lot - and I have a
suspicion there's actually a good humoristic roleplaying setting
in there somewhere.
- Eirich - An intermezzo for a
roleplaying character of mine, written when he got stuck in
roleplay-limbo.
- Korde - A prelude for a roleplay
character. I haven't actually gotten to play that one yet,
though. I consider this piece something of the better I've
written.
- Kripos - Another prelude /
presentation of a roleplay character - this one a forensic
sorcerer. I suppose the main inspiration for him was Glen
Cook's Garret character. I strongly recommend Cook's books -
both the "adjective metal noun" books, and the Black Company
series.
- Vanil - An intermezzo concerning yet
another roleplay character - this one a middle-aged, lesbian
dragoness.
- Veyder - Introduction of a
character, originally from alt.dragons-inn. The character never
really formed, and this introduction has a lot of
problems. Still, for some reason I can't quite just toss it
away. (Which probably means I should throw it away from me with
all possible force)
- Tilly's Wedding - A short log
from an RP session. It's funny in a "you had to be there"
way.
Articles
- Draug - a kith for Changeling - One
of my favorite roleplaying games ever is Changeling from White
Wolf, although I've never had a change to actually play it. This
is a "kith", or character class, for that game, based on
Norwegian folklore.
- Guns in FFRG - A treatise on guns in
modern free-form roleplaying games. Written to stem the tide in
a cyberpunkish channel, and encourage more realism. (It failed
miserably at that, by the way.)
