Aegirine is a rockforming mineral in the ekerites south of Drammen. In more pegmatittic parts large and euhedral crystals are found. The color is usually green, but this specimen show a purple color which is very unusal. It was found in a druse more than ten years ago together with some other crystals with the same color.
