About us and our breeding
It is very important to us that all our dogs are healthy, with good health-lines. They are our pets and companions and come with us everywhere we go. It is important that they learn how to handle every situation. Good mentality is vital in our breeding. We will strive to raise all our puppies to be good pets. We love all our dogs dearly and they have a big place in our hearts and lives.
Here at Pecassa we like to maintain an intimate relationship with our dogs, therefore we try to keep our numbers small. We want to breed sound ( both mentally and physically) cavaliers of good type. Every litter should be special with the hope of a new star, only a few litters per year.
The man in the house is a dog trainer with his own dog school. He has been doing dog training since 1995, competitive obedience, agility, problem behavior and search work. He specializes in dogs behavior. Also he has working experience from a dogs kennel and dog shop.
The lady in the house has been doing dog training since 1997. Including competitive obedience, problem behavior and agility. She has the main responsibility for our dogs, and will be the one to raise the puppies. We have good knowledge in nutrition, dog training and dogs behavior, and we work with that every day through the dog school.
Besides the health issue, it is of great importance that our dogs are good individuals for their breed standard. We therefore show our dogs. By showing them we also get the chance to show our dogs "live", so people can see how they are. We do not put make up on any of our dogs on shows. Not on the coat ( gloss spray, silk or white painting/powder) or around the eyes ( white painting). What you see is what you get. We believe in good nutrition, good coat care and no cheating. We play with open cards and feel that honesty is a good card. You can see latest results for each dog under show news.
