The ZX Spectrum (known as the TS 2068 in the US) was a very successful home computer for many children of the 80s.
Because of the machine's simplicity, it was both easy and cheap to copy and reproduce. Many illegal clones were produced elsewhere in the world.
Especially in the Eastern Europe, and South America. You can read more about the different clones of the ZX Spectrum here.
There are plenty of good emulators for the ZX Spectrum out there. I prefer the ZX32 emulator, which is an older emulator (last updated December 13, 1997). The only drawback is that you must set your videocard to maximum 256 color depth, but on the upper side, it is very compatible with the Spectrum-games! :) You'll find a local copy of the ZX32-emulator on my emulator-page, and local copies of the games below on my Pacman ROMs -page! For other emulators available, just check the FAQ, and "thou shall find"... :) Here are some screenshots from some Packy-games for the Speccy:
You can try to PLAY many of the above games right NOW, just by clicking on the image! Go ahead, TRY IT!!!
