Boeing 737-405
Boeing 737-400 belongs to Boeing's second generation of 737s, that was launched in March 1981.
Five years later, Boeing launched the 737-400, a 146-seat stretch from its predecessor 737-300.
It entered service in September 1988. Braathens received its first 737-400 in 1989, and has now
totally 7 planes of this type. It has a cruising speed of 850 km/h, and a range of 2400 km.
It's not landing for real at the picture. It was just a demo, and as soon as the plane was about
to touch the ground it took of again. Kjeller Airfield is too small for the 737-400, but I'm sure
the pilots had a lot of fun doing something unusual.
