Here you can download the Larsen Commander software, but please don't
forget that Larsen Commander is Shareware, not Freeware. This means
that you should pay for it if you find it useful and want to keep

Latest version, 1.5.2
This is the latest stable version of Larsen Commander. The latest
stable version is for OS/2 only. If you are looking for the
Windows version of Larsen Commander you can find and download

Downloadable language modules
Here you have a list of the different languages to which Larsen
Commander has
been translated. These modules can be used with Larsen Commander
version 1.5.x. If you want to run Larsen Commander in english you don't
need
any of these language modules.
To run Larsen Commander in one of the above languages then just
start
Larsen Commander with the command;
LCMD.EXE -rcFileLocale X
... where X is the path to one of these language modules
(of
which you of course must have downloaded to your system).
Older versions
If you experience any problem with the latest version of Larsen
Commander
you can try an older version and hope for it to work as a temporary
solution while waiting for a fix. Only the most stable versions are
listed here.

Development release
If you want to download the most recent development release and take
part
in its testing progress you can turn to the
Development-page.
Installation on Windows
To install Larsen Commander on Windows you can follow these steps:
- Doanload the distribution executable file and store it anywhere
you like on your computer. For instance on your desktop.
- Run the downloaded distribution executable file and follow the
on-screen instructions.
That's all.
Larsen Commander will not mess up your
system registry or add any files to your windows directory. It is
also very easy to uninstall, just by selecting the "Uninstall"
command in the installed Larsen Commander folder.
Installation on OS/2
To install Larsen Commander on OS/2 you can follow these steps:
- Unzip the downloaded distribution archive file in the directory
of where you want to install the program.
- Run the script LCMDINST.CMD that is part of the distribution.
This will create a Larsen Commander folder on your desktop.
