RC - Wireless Video

MovieStar from Multiplex

My new video-platform. 1400mm wingspan about 1300gram.
I have put in new electric motors, brushless Hacker with gear,
prop 8x4. Battery 3000mah 7cell. Also moved servoes to the tail.

Multiplex claim that it is possible to lift 400gram of payload. It has
plenty of space in the cargo room.

MS is a stable platform and it take loads quit good.
First flight with video onboard and everything working very good.

Mounted the hi-res ccd camera on the side of the plane.  Tested it today and it working very good. I am very pleased with the
performance of MS and it is more stable than the Sunnyboy.
Flight time is about 15minuts with a 7cell 3000mah battery.

Looking in the large cargo bay. Under GPS is motor battery 7 cell 3000mah.
Video-overlay card is mounted on the back wall. It give GPS data on the
rear mounted camera. Microphone is also mounted on the left side of overlay card .With everything it is begin to be heavy.Flight weight is 1976gram, but it still flyes pretty good. Airborne time is +10 minutes on a charge.

View from the backside. Rear mounted CCD 380 lines.
TX is a 50mw videomodule for 2.4ghz band. I will change that to a
Felsweb 500mw transmitter soon. Antenna is a 1/4wave ground plane.

Mounted a Sony Cybershot DSC-P7  3.2megapixel camera on the side of
MS. Camera with servo and bracket is 250gram.Use the same platform as the videocamera. It's tilted a little bit down.
I remove the 2 cameras and battery for compensation (-286gram).
It is possible to transmitt video from the Sony camera.
