The season started unusually early, on August 19, when it still wasn't entirely dark at night. I haven't seen much aurora in September so far, because it was clouded or rainy most of the time.


In October, I could see some aurora almost every night, and especially in the beginning of the month, it was sometimes quite spectacular.


In November, I could experience the aurora on the Hurtigrute and on the Lofoten.


There was little to see in December, but in January and February I got some aurora again, even though it was cloudy a lot of the time.


There were several nice aurora nights in March. The season ended with just a little more aurora in April.
