Travis Fine in Shake, Rattle and Roll (www.cbs.com)As an actor, Travis Fine is probably most fondly remembered for his touching portrayal of the mute and bald-headed Ike McSwain on ABC's "The Young Riders".

However, that is not his only accomplishment. Fine's other acting credits include the award-winning The Thin Red Line and Girl, Interrupted; the CBS miniseries Shake, Rattle and Roll; and guest appearances on shows like "The Pretender", "The Lazarus Man", "Family Law", and "C.S.I.: Crime Scene Investigation".

Moreover, Travis Fine has got a number of writing and directing credits to his name, including several short films and two feature length movies, The Others (which he also produced) and The Ride. In addition, he has written episodes for "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" and "Diagnosis Murder".

Vaya Con Dios, Ike! The Travis Fine Web Site contains updated information on Travis Fine's career, as well as biographical data, photos, screen captures, articles, fan fiction, a message board, and lots of interesting stuff about "The Young Riders". Enjoy!

Celebrating 10 years on the web!!! :-)

Actually, I would like to take this opportunity to thank some of the people who have helped me along the way.

First and foremost, I would like to express my profound gratitude to Travis, for without him, this page would never have been made in the first place, much less have been kept alive for an entire decade. So, thanks a lot, Travis!! I hope to see you back on that screen again soon! ;-)

Two other people I could never have done any of this without, are Jolene and Broedy. In the early days, the two of them provided me with some much needed information and illustration. So thank you both so much, ladies!

I would also like to thank all of those who have offered encouragement and friendship over the years. So here's to Kirsten, Joanna, Tanya K., Kathy, Jill, Kathleen, Nesciri, Starbright, Cass, Aimee, Beth (x 2), Lisa, Melissa, Suzy, Jessica, Ann, Wendy (x 3), Raye, and everyone else who's helped in one way or another...especially all the wonderful Ike fans! A special nod to everyone I met at the 2001 reunion! :-) I miss you!

Last, but not least, I would like to thank the cast and crew of "The Young Riders". You have certainly kept me entertained!! :-)

Celebrating our 10th anniversary, I have a gift for everyone: The entire first draft of the script for 'The Presence of Mine Enemies' has been posted to 'Ike & Emily', along with a few very nice screen captures from that episode. Hope you'll enjoy!!

More updates to follow...

The first season of TYR was released to DVD in March 2006. Sadly, there is still no word on the last two seasons. If you want to help out, please sign this petition. More than a thousand people have already done so.
