WELCOME TO THE WEB SITE FOR ACTOR, WRITER, PRODUCER AND DIRECTOR
TRAVIS FINE!
As an actor, Travis Fine is probably most fondly remembered for his touching portrayal of the mute and bald-headed
Ike McSwain on ABC's "The Young Riders".
However,
that is not his only accomplishment. Fine's other acting credits include the award-winning The Thin Red Line and Girl, Interrupted; the
CBS miniseries Shake, Rattle and Roll; and guest appearances on shows like "The Pretender", "The Lazarus Man", "Family Law", "JAG", and
"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation".
Moreover, Travis Fine has got a number of writing and directing credits to his name, including several short
films and two feature length movies (both of which he also produced), The Others and The Space Between (starring Academy Award® nominee
Melissa Leo and Anthony Keyvan). In addition, he has written episodes for "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" and "Diagnosis Murder".
Vaya Con Dios, Ike!
The Travis Fine Web Site contains updated information on Travis Fine's career, as well as biographical data, photos, screen captures, articles, fan
fiction, a message board, and lots of interesting stuff about "The Young Riders". Enjoy!

THIS PAGE WAS LAST UPDATED ON OCTOBER 18, 2010
On Saturday October 16, The Space Between won the Grand Prize for Best Feature at the Heartland Film Festival. Congratulations to Travis and Kristine and the rest of the team! I'm so happy for you! This is a well deserved recognition for all of your hard work.
Read the story and see some pictures here.

September 29, 2010:
Great news! :-) Travis has optioned the rights to the original screenplay Marco, which he will start shooting next
spring in New York City.
The Space Between had its world premiere on April 23 at the
2010 Tribeca Film Festival (April 21 - May 2). At Tribeca, Melissa Leo was given a Special Jury Mention for her role as Montine. Congratulations,
Melissa! Well deserved! :-) Somehow, I don't think it will be too long before the Oscar® comes your way.
The weekend of
October 21-24, The Space Between will be screening at the Austin Film Festival.
Hopefully, the theatrical release will follow shortly. Travis told me awhile ago that they were close to setting a deal to get the movie released both in
the US and internationally. At the same time, he confirmed that he does indeed have a small role in it himself.
See the movie's
official site for more information and some
pictures.
I found some red carpet photos of Travis as well as the cast from The Space Between. See them and more new info at the
filmography page, The Theatre. There you will also find some links to other exciting photos and a couple of very interesting
interviews. :-)
Ty Miller turned 46 just three days ago. A belated Happy Birthday to you, Ty! :-)
Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Gregg Rainwater on his Emmy® nomination as art director for
"American Idol". Way to go, Gregg! :-)
IN MEMORIAM
Christopher Pettiet (12 February 1976 - 12 April 2000), one of Travis Fine's former "The Young Riders" co-stars, passed away just before Easter, 2000, at the
young age of 24.
For more info, please visit Kathleen's memorial page over
at Riders Coming!
Ride safe and vaya con Dios, Chris! We miss you!! Your memory will not be forgotten!
