HIS MAJESTY THE KING OF SPAIN CONTEST 2002 Organisation.- URE (Union de Radioaficionados Espaņoles). Contestants.- All licensed radio amateurs throughout the world are invited to participate. Only contacts between EA stations and non-EA stations are valid. Dates.- CW: Third weekend of May of every year (May 18-19, 2002) from 1800 UTC Saturday to 1800 UTC Sunday. SSB: Fourth weekend of June of every year (June 22-23, 2002) from 1800 UTC Saturday to 1800 UTC Sunday. Frequencies recommendations. SSB: 1842-1850, 3600-3650, 3700-3800, 7045-7100, 14125-14300, 21151-21450, 28255-29200 kHz. CW: 1830-1838, 3500-3560, 7000-7035, 14000-14060, 21000-21080, 21120-21149, 28000-28050 and 28150-28190 kHz. Classes: Single operator multiband, single operator monoband and multioperator. Exchange: RS(T) + serial number starting with 001. The Spanish stations will send RS(T) + province letters (see below). Points: One point per QSO. The same station can be contacted once per band. Multipliers: Spanish Provinces in each band (maximum: 6 x 52 = 312). Final score: Total QSO points by total number of multipliers. Valid contacts: Only contacts logged in 10 entries minimum will be valid. Awards: Trophy for champions in single operator multiband and multioperator categories, if five logs at least are received. Champion certificate will be issued in single operator monoband classes. Contestants with 25 per cent of points of the champion of their class will receive a diploma. Log: Logs must contain the following columns: band, date and hour (UTC), contacted station, exchange, multiplier (first time) and points. A summary sheet must be included showing: name, callsign, address, points and multipliers in each band and claimed score. Entries received without summary sheet will be considered as control. Electronic logs are preferable but only will be accepted these formats: URECON (callsign.log and callsign.sum), CT (callsign.bin and callsign.sum), N6TR (callsign.dat and summary), or ADIF.
