NRRL 75th Anniversary Contest

The Norwegian Radio Relay League (NRRL) has the pleasure of inviting all amateurs around the globe to celebrate its 75th Anniversary in August 2003.

 

Aim: To work as many norwegian stations, in as many counties, as possible:

Norway: LA, LB, LG

Svalbard: JW

Jan Mayen: JX

 
1. Contest PeriodStart: Saturday August 23rd at 1200 UTC

End: Sunday August 24th at 1200 UTC

2. Bands80, 40, 20, 15, 10 meters.
3. ModesCW and SSB.
4. Entry ClassesSingle operator

Multi operator

Use of Packet/DX-cluster is permitted.

5. ExchangeRS(T) plus serial number.

Norwegian stations sends serial number plus one letter indicating county:
A B C D E F H I K L R S T U V W X Y Z

Stations in JX and JW sends only serial number.
6. QSO PointsEach QSO with a LA,LB,LG,JW,JX station gives three (3) points. A station may be worked twice per band, once on each mode.
7. Multiplier1 multiplier per county, per mode, per band. Maximum 5*2*21=210.
There is 19 counties, plus JX and JW.
8. Final ScoreThe total of all QSO points on all bands, multiplied by the total of all multiplier points on all bands.
9. LogsUse standard log forms, submit score calculation. Multipliers should appear only when new. Please sign log for observation of all contest rules and regulations for amateur radio in the country of operation. Mail log no later than September 15th, to:

10. AwardsA special anniversary plaque will be awarded the single operator winner in
- Europe
- non-Europe

A contest certificate will be awarded to the top scorer in each country in each entry class.
