Vengsøy  seeks new inhabitants!

We are approx. 100 inhabitants at Vengsøy, and our basic trades are fishing and fish-industi. We have our  own school (1. - 10. year), grocery shop, postservice, and  a  ferry connection to the city several times a day.

It is possible to work in the city, and live at Vengsøy. There are  good possibillities for jobs in Tromsø city. There are also possibillities for season  jobs at the island at the fish plant Henry Johansen AS, or at a local fishing boat.

The Vengsøy island  have a  beautiful  nature, fresh air, clean water, very good possibilities for fishing and birdhunting. If you need city facilities, Tromsø is near by , one hour away.
