Left us in Februray 2008.

Some things take a while to put on paper.  Santina is a big loss for me; she was in my bed almost every night  for 11 years.

After two big cancer operations, we just could not let her have a third one.  It came so fast; very scary !

So we decided to let her have a pieceful ending.  The vet came home to us; and we said good buy very softly. She understood and was very calm.  The pictures in the bed are taken when we waited for the vet; she looked, as alway; wonderful ! and not at all sick!

Thank you Raymond and Magne for this wonderful girl; one of the best female NFO raised.

May you rest in piece Santina ; my great love !

Faruk av Bjørnsletta(N)

They had moved to the countryside and Faruk was
there allowed to go out; he loved it and he apparently got healthier; and he
lost weight.

Then he got ill; the blood tests where no good.  He himself
stopped eating (his way of taking action), but the values still increased.
So after three weeks without any food; the kidneys were still not back in
shape. It was just no return. 

This is a part of life so we just have to
deal with it. Our comfort is that he had a good life, with a lot of love and
dedication from my sister.

Thank you so much Elisabeth; he could not have a
better "mother" than you.

Faruk was used in breeding his first years of living; by myself, by Pan´s
and Selteteigen´s and others.  And now we hopefully get his lines back by
using his grandson in breeding.  His biggest quality was his amazing temper;
his size and bone structure. Just a wonderful, intelligent and unafraid cat;
chasing even dogs if they interfered his territory.  May you rest in peace

Born December 23^rd, 1989, died of Pregnancy poisoning September 19^th 1995.

A big and kind cat that used to me my babies bodyguard.  We tried to save her with a caesarean, but unfortunately we missed both her and her kittens. She gave birth to some wonderful big cats and her lines are even in Canada.

Pan’s Petunia (Lillemor)

Born August 30^th 1993, died May 17^th 2002

Lillemor came to me from Else Nylund when she was 1 week old and was raised by Tippi (Xantippe) together with Blåmann that was single child.  After raising her we just couldn’t give her back and we decided to keep her. Lillemor was the sister of the more famous Pan’s Pontiac. She gave us many wonderful kittens with Faruk and lived a good life with my sister Elisabeth.  Thank you Else and thank you Elisabeth for taking so good care of her.

We lost her the day before I came home from hosptal with my first child in 1990.  After searching for her for many years, I finally axcepted that  she chosed to move. A very special and independent cat that used to join me on all my trips; she was on boats, went skiing and sat beside me in my convertable car.  She just did’n want to share my love.

born November 9^th 1990, put to sleep October 2001

THE most special cat I’ve ever had.  Just the most intelligent and adorable cat EVER. How he took care of my children and the other cats are just amazing. It would take my whole website to explain him, just beleive me ! Unfortunately I kept him for too long, his last days were not good. It was a heavy decicion, but when we took him to the vet without his cage, he understood and it was all very calm and peaceful. No one can ever take his place in my heart. Thank you very much Ulla for giving me this wonderful cat.

Prins Umulius av Bjørnsletta (N)

Born November 13th, 1994, died when hit by a car nearly two years old.

He was really a “Prince Umulius”, so that it was him that should meet his destiny like this is just not surprising.  He was high and low and not afraid of anything. I think he had a funny life !
