The grand erg oriental in the algerian Sahara desert. What I like to think of as the view from my bedroom window. Very, very spectacular, extreme and harsh. During the summer it is like sitting in a sauna, during the winter it can be quite cold. The longest stint I did in the Algerian Sahara desert was three months, when you are there that feels like a very long time
