A picture of the back of my 4 x 5 in. camera. A blue towel served as a focusing cloth on this hot summer day in the western parts of Norway. A loupe case is resting on the monorail. The picture was taken while I was testing a new springback. The back (made of birch plywood and oak) had not yet been oiled - the wood is therefore lighter than the rest of the camera in this picture.
