Geir Strøm: The Facts

WHO?

Geir Strøm, a slightly worn programmer living in Nesodden, Norway with wife Anne-Kristin and our house god, Snipp the cat.

WHAT?

Once upon a time I was educated as an Engineer, Information Technology, at Trondheim Ingeniørhøgskole, since reorganized as  Høgskolen i Sør-Trøndelag, Institutt for Databehandling.
I used to work  in  Statoil A/S. After that, I joined Policy Management Systems Corporation  (Norway) - a subsidiary of PMSC, USA - later merged with American corporation MYND, which was in turn bought by Computer Sciences Corporation (phew...).
Currently employed as a Lotus Notes maniac by Kongsberg Simrad.
