Hello Music Lovers From All Over The World!

This is "The Duke" (a.k.a Duken in Norwegian) speaking. "The Duke" is in the late 30's and from the middle of Norway and he loves music. Mostly blues, but also pop, rock, prog, folk-rock...His collection contains about 4 000 CD's and 2 000 LP's and the collection of DVD's are increasing rapidly. Pst! He is a non-smoker and a non-drinker...well he fancy a drink or several in company with rock 'n' rollers!!

This ain't gonna be a review site, but more an attempt to dig deeper into artists' releases from my own collection. It might be biographies, releases, short stories, gossip, gigs…Some of the artists may got their own site and others don't.

(Photo: Heidi Bakken, I think, at her brother Christian's 30th birthday - Shame on you all!)

I am not gonna be a competitor to the artists own sites, but it's just a humble tribute to their lives and music. My fan-list includes several artists, but on my first attempt for this site I am concentrating on Dana Gillespie and her music. Can someone help with accomondation down at the Mustique island...Maybe Mr. Mick Jagger got a room to lend me for fourteen days...I want to get down to the Mustique Blues Festival, but it's so extremely expensive!

Please feel free to explore the information I have been able to track down so far. Some of it from my own collection and lots from internet-sources. I am very interested in all kind of information, records, memorabilia you out there can support me with.

And finally a message to Mr. Blues Train (a.k.a Tore Røsbjørgen). Stop hassling about. Here is the site you have nagged on for months. Do check his site - http://www.mrbluestrain.com - for reviews on artists like Patto, Terry Stamp, Livin' Blues, JW Roy and others who deserve a place in the sun. That's for sure!

On my opening-/welcome-site you can see from me with Dana Gillespie. Picture taken at Hell Bluesfestival September 2003!

More to come - Beware! I think it should be of huge interest for all who digs real music!

Pst! Check out Karen Tyler. She is a great artist. Her releases "Streets And Serenades", "Lovin' The Blues Too Long" and "Alone & Blue" are just outstanding! Thanks to her for signed CD's and photos! Mr. Blues Train has (30th September 2001) done some reviews on her releases!

Keep on rockin'!
