Using the theatre's real burlesque dancers in all the stage scenes, it tells the sordid story of the life and death of a dancer and features early appearances by April Wilding ("Hands Of The Ripper") and Pauline Collins ("Shirley Valentine", "Upstairs", "Downstairs") resplendent in paste jewelery, gold lamé knickers and fishnet stockings".

Well, I knew about this film through Dana's own site. So far I have not been able to find through my search on internet. Most of the films Dana has participated in have know been released on DVD. Therefore it is a joy for a fan to see that "Secrets Of A Windmill Girl" finally is released on DVD.

Dana has a very small appearance in this movie. She sings and plays the acoustic guitar at a party. Nevertheless it's really wonderful to see the young and stunning Lady in her first movie!!

I'm not familiar with the Windmill Theatre so for me this is a boring movie. It could be a nice documentary for those who's into the story of this Theatre...
