Still nothing exciting to write about regarding Europe, the Pokémon TCG and OP. In the USA, they now had the Ruby/Sapphire TCG/GBA tournaments, and this weekend they're getting the Sandstorm prerelease tournaments. Great tournaments, props to Nintendo over there for organizing exciting stuff like this. But in Europe, there's no OP at all at the moment. We still have to wait for Nintendo's OP meeting in October, and wait for all the distributors in Europe to get their plans ready. But we will have OP this fall! And I can't wait. Prerelease tournaments all over Europe isn't impossible. Wouldn't that be fantastic? :D

It's a slow summer, and there's not much Pokémon
TCG news to write about at the moment. The very last DCI sanctioned
tournaments are held all over Europe right now, and in two days August
is here and there will never be a DCI tourney again. So we will have to
play non sanctioned tournaments for a while until Nintendo start their
OP (Organized Play) programs for Europe. We don't know when they
will, but one thing's for sure: Nintendo will have OP in Europe, just
like in the USA. Check out this link
for Nintendo's own FAQ regarding the matter.
We got two new TE members from Norway today.
