| Portugal
6th October 2001
Lisbon |
UK
Saturday 15th September 2001
Thorpe Park, Surrey
This Qualifier was quite extraordinary. Unlike
the 5 other before it, this one was in the new Modified format, excluded
the 15+ age bracket and gave plane tickets to the top 4 in each bracket.
Why Wizards UK wanted to make this Qualifier
is unclear. But one thing's very clear: they made many, many people mad. |
Holland
Sunday 7th October 2001
Gilze
10-: Laetita Delhausse (TE!)
11-14: Fons Melis
15+: Jean Marc Schosse
Holland's STS Q: the return of old (?) masters.
And the third Pokémon playing member of the Schosse family wins
his STS Qualifier.
Jean Marc is the father of Jerome and Gilles.
And Laetita wins her 2nd STS Q in just one moth! O_o |

1: Raul Stern (Germany)
2: Jerome Schosse (Belgium- Champion QT Amsterdam
& last year's QT Belgium)
3: Sebastian Demand (Germany)
4: Filiph Waldt (Sweden- 3rd Place QT Gothenburg)
11-14
1: Sondo Ting (Germany)
2: Florian Schaff (Germany)
3: Roy Van Valkenburg (The Netherlands)
4: Gilles Schosse (Belgium)
15+
1: Faisal Khan (England- Champion QT Gothenburg,
3rd QT Copenhagen) (TE!)
2: Ngoc Canj ("Big Caterpie" - Germany)
3: Jean Pierre Dziedzichi (Germany)
4: Jean March Schosse (Belgium- yup, he's
the father of the other two Schosses)
The german Qualifiers really had lots of famous faces! Holland's winner
Jean Marc Schosse, "Big Caterpie", Jerome & Gilles Schosse, Hermann
"Dark Gyarados" Koch, Tom Lafleur, Joachim "whatever" Rees, Veghetto, Freak
Deluxe, and last, but not least: our own Faisal Kahn.
The pokémaniac of all pokémaniacs won again! But because
he had already won his trip, he had to give away the prize to the 2nd placing
"Big Caterpie". This is the second time this special QT rule has been used,
after Laetitia Delhausse's victory in Holland.

Italy
Saturday November 3rd
NEW! The Italian
Qualifier follows UK's much-hated rules and decisions, and is looking to
become a big dissapointment for all Italian players (especially those who're
older thean 14).
Expect the TE member "The Thinker" to be there, even though he's 16. |
