Click on a "thumbnail" to transfer that image file to your computer and then view the actual image on your own screen, but remember to read the Copyright note . Einar's Fractal Images are in a form suited for computer screens. The images are stored in progressive JPG 6.0 format, most of them with a size of 640 by 480 pixels and 72 pixels per inch. The master images (not available here) have other sizes, density and color depths. There may be differences in how computers show colors on their screens and different screens have different characteristics. These images are optimized for a Macintosh computer with 17 inch color screen and millions of colors (24bit). Let us hope they also look OK on your screen - there is only one way to find out - take a look! Don't forget - before viewing, please set you monitor to thousands of colors (or more) if you can. I am not very happy with how the images look in 256 colors (8 bit) or less. If you need to use 256 colors, then you might view the images at a distance of 1,5m (5ft) from you monitor to get an impression of how I want them to look.
