Tinware and plastic parts painted with aerosolcans. Satisfied with the result, but dropping both sidecovers on the gravel scratced them. I then
put them away, and since driving battery less I chose to not use sidecovers. 
After spilling brakefluid on the tank, I came to the conclusion that I can not have any paint to worry about on my bike.
Have ordered a aluminum manx type tank from thetankshop.com, due to arrive in mid July (2009).
Have been given an aluminum front fender from my SR'friend Steve.
