Flak Mk III

The model should be built 6mm Depron in the wing and 3mm Depron in the fins, not all 3mm Depron as indicated on the drawing. The leading edge flap supports can preferably be 5-6mm balsa. I made my supports from Depron and that is a bit too soft for that use.

I have flown it now as slope soarer. But then it was really too light at 140g. I have flown it with a speed 400 motor and 7x600mAh cells, but then it was too heavy and it aerolastic properties made it difficult to control. I have flown it with Ikarus' power kit (borrowed from my Bleriot) with 6x270mAh cells and the it flies quite nicely.

Dry weight with Pico receiver and 2x6g servos is 140g.  I have flown it outdoors, but it can probably be flown indoors in a large hall.
