Welcome!

This site is dedicated to my hobby – stamp collecting and postal history.

Since I was a small kid I have been collecting stamps – more or less continuously. Since early nineties I have specialized in collecting postal history. Especially Finland from the last period of the Russian occupation, more specific the period from when the Ring stamps were issued in 1891 until spring 1918.

In the collection I include Ring stamps and stationery, Russian stamps and stationery valid within Finland and Finnish locals and stationery, issued from 1901 and onwards. I do collect what I come across for my own pleasure and interest, but at the same time I try to build an exhibit. If I’ll ever exhibit in larger scale I don’t know.

Please feel free to look around in my pages. If you can offer anything within my fields of interest or for any other reason, send me a mail.
