Because I was on duty at work, I couldn't go to the family mountaincabin this Easter.
So; I planned to spend as much time as possible in the garage, and with the boat.
Unfortunately; I had to work a lot, so just a couple of days (out of 9)
was set to work with the boat and Lotus. As I earlier had got both the
engine and gearbox back from overhaul; I was sure it would mean a lot to
me, physologically, to see them both back in the chassis.

As I have no electrical lifting help, I had to make a way of lifting the engine/gearbox components by myself. It worked quite fine to get them out of the chassis a coulpe of years ago - this time it worked just as fine to get them back again. |

The package well back to where they belong! If you ask me, I think the color combination black, silver and red works just fine. |

It looks very nice. At first, the gearbox was stuck, so I had to have the man who overhalued it to come back and look at it. He ment it was just lack of oil in the box that made it stuck. I filled some oil, and now it works fine. Hopefully it will be OK even when it is time to start the engine and drive the car .... |
