Well, though no news on the page for the letest three months, a lot
of things has happened in the garage.
Together with Olav, my ex-painter friend, I have spray-filled the body,
the doors and bonnets, grinded them, and sprayed again, before another
grinding round. Now the body is as smooth as a newborn baby's skin, and
it is time to think of putting some real color onto the now grey body.
I have decided to paint the car Ginster Yellow, the same color seen on
some new VW Polo's.
Ladies and Gentlemen; I proudly present you some pictures from the latest
period:

Yours truly to the left (with the videocamera...), and Olav to the
right, looking at the result of the first spraying, and joking about all
the grinding work ahead... I'm still not sure what the neighbour thinks of all the dust we have produced during the latest weeks, not to mention when we will paint the car yellow. On the other hand; we may just cover their doors and windows, and hope that the car's color will match their house's... |

The Tristan Convertibe 1961 Triumph Herald 1200, bought because the
wife and kids liked it! OK, I admit; I felt for it, too ;-) |

Hmm, not so pretty with the hardtop on, though...
