| Notes: | After viewing the December 4th Total Solar eclipse
my fiancée and I went on a 7 day safari in the great Australian Outback.
This safari of course included a visit to Uluru (f.k.a. Ayers Rock),
the worlds largest monolith rising 348 metres above the surrounding
plains and nearly 9km around its base. The images for this sequence of
the Uluru in sunset were taken while enjoying a traditional
Australian "barbie" (BBQ) in the Uluru National Park.
We would like to especially thank Matt, our tour-guide from Adventure Tours Australia, for excellent catering and a most memorable trip!! |
