I have a Ph.D. in biology, more precisely toxicology. The title of my thesis was “Neuro- and immunotoxic effects of ortho substituted PCBs”. I currently work as a scientist at the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment where the topics are environmental impacts from Defence activity. Risk assessment of hazardous compounds and modelling of fate and transport of pollutants are my specialities. From 2002 to 2003 I had the opportunity to stay in France for one year where I worked at a division for Biometry and Artificial Intelligence under an institute for agricultural research. It was great to learn the language, take part in the French culture and play rugby.

I enjoy discussing the great questions of life, and gather friends and collegues monthly in a café in order to investigate different topics.
